License plate blur, automatic

Hide the plate before the photo goes online.

Car photos in, license plates found and covered, full-resolution files out. Five photos free without an account or watermark. Uploads are deleted automatically.

JPG · PNG · HEIC · WebP · up to 20 photos at once

How it works

  1. 01

    Upload

One photo or a whole listing's worth. Your browser sends each image straight to private storage, not through our web server.

  2. 02

    Plates found

Front and rear license plates are detected and blurred, including plates at an angle. If one is missed, draw a region over it by hand.

  3. 03

    Download

Full resolution, with the camera's location data stripped. Single files, or one ZIP when you uploaded a batch.

Who uses it

Selling privately

Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and Autotrader listings without your license plate on show. Blur it once, post everywhere.

Listing photos, done right →

Dealers and lots

Upload a full gallery per car and download one ZIP, with every plate covered in the same style. Packs are sized for a lot's inventory, not a single sale.

Everyone else

Dashcam frames, car-club meets, insurance claims, social posts. A license plate links a photo to a person; blur it before it travels.

Questions

Does it blur both the front and the rear plate?
Yes. Every license plate in the frame is detected, front or rear, on cars, trucks, vans and motorcycles. Each one gets its own region, so you can change the style or remove the blur on any of them before you download.
Do you keep my photos?
Your photos sit in private storage, are never shown or shared, and are deleted automatically. There are no accounts, no galleries and no training on your images.
Which formats and how large?
JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC straight from an iPhone, up to the editor's size limit per photo. You get a JPG back by default, or PNG and WebP if you prefer, always at the original resolution.
Can it handle a plate at an angle or partly covered?
Plates at normal listing angles are found reliably. A plate seen almost edge-on, behind a tow bar or under heavy glare can be missed; the editor lets you draw the region yourself in a second, so nothing ships uncovered.
What is free and what costs?
Five exported photos every 30 days are free, no sign-up. After that a pack of 40 is $1.99, and credits never expire. Uploading and previewing never cost anything.
